Sad to hear about Willie Nelson

“Me and Paul: Untold Stories of a Fabled Friendship,” the highly awaited book by country music icon Willie Nelson, was just published. The book highlights Nelson’s connection with Paul English throughout seven decades while also shedding light on a difficult period in his life.

Nelson wrote candidly about his previous attempt at suicide in his book, recounting a period when he was so depressed that he thought about taking his own life. He told a bargoer that he had thought about killing himself by placing his head on a rail track, but he had changed his mind and came back to the bar after fifteen minutes.
