Losing a kid is among the most traumatic experiences one can have. Gordon Ramsay and his wife Tonya were two individuals who had to contend with this challenge.
Out of the six children that Gordon and Tana had together, only five of them are living today. Their children are Jack and Holly, the twins, age 23, Matilda, age 21, and Oscar, age 4. Their daughter Megan is 25 years old.
Sadly, Tana lost their son Rocky in 2016 at the age of twenty-three weeks. The family was going through a really trying moment because she had lost the pregnancy. The baby’s heartbeat was strong at birth, but he was too little to live.
A joyous incident that occurred a few days before to the pregnancy’s loss was also disclosed by the mother. As Megan celebrated turning eighteen, she shared a photo of herself with her family.
Regarding his experience losing his child, Gordon has remained largely silent. However, he has spoken up about it recently, stating: “Losing Rocky was really tough, and there’s no book that guides you through that loss.” “Watching the trauma unfold, it’s this life-changing moment,” he continued.
In addition, he claims that after experiencing the loss as a family, they are stronger. It demonstrates to you the depths of their relationship and their ability to move past the sorrow of such a tragic event.
They take numerous forms of demonstrating their unity, including naming a house after Rocky. Every member of the family participates in wearing a piece of jewelry bearing his name.
Gordon added that if Rocky had not been lost, they would not have received an Oscar. They did mention that it assisted him in developing a bond, despite their insistence that it is not a replacement.
Gordon acknowledges that his wife is strong, saying, “She was incredible straight after that. Just watching the way that she dealt with it — and opened up with other friends and women in close proximity that could give advice.” “There are a lot of things that Tana has done; without that strength, we wouldn’t be here today,” he continued.
