Viewers are outraged at Pat Sajak following a ‘Wheel of Fortune’ contestant’s incorrect response

Rule-follower or rule-breaker?

If you break rules, don’t watch Wheel of Fortune or Jeopardy! Mispronounce a word or add a letter to the answer = wrong.

Except this time, when a Wheel of Fortune contestant added an extra letter and won.

After spinning the wheel, Toms River, New Jersey resident Nadine Cedro solved the puzzle with the clue “butter.”

As usual, host Pat Sajak advised Cedro to “say everything, don’t add anything” before solving the puzzle.

“Fly, Fingers, Bean…”

She had one word to solve, nut.

Cedro said nuts.

A slip of the tongue would have cost her the puzzle, but Sajak missed it.

Sharp-eared viewers caught the mistake and exposed it on social media.

“Our family heard nutS, so we round it three times. Someone said she shouldn’t have won the round.

Many agreed Cedro shouldn’t have won. Still, she said “nuts” and the right response was “nut.”

Thoughts? Allow it or should she have lost the round?
