“There’s A Whistleblower In Her Office”: Jim Jordan Drops Major News On Fani Willis [WATCH]

Recently, Jim Jordan, the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, gave updates on a noteworthy development involving the contentious Fulton County district attorney Fani Willis. Jordan recently served Willis with a subpoena, asking for records from the attorney who filed charges against the former president of the United States, Donald Trump.

Jordan was questioned about whether he had heard back from Willis regarding the request for documents during a discussion at CPAC 2024. The chairman of the House Judiciary Committee did point out that Jordan’s committee was in contact with a former employee of the Fulton County DA’s office.

No, she hasn’t gotten back to us yet. We’ll see what we get, but our committee staff has spoken with a whistleblower who is in her office. The whistleblower, I believe, is about four feet eleven. However, Fani Willis had seven police officers escort her out when she fired the woman, he said, because the woman had expressed concerns that Miss Willis was not using federal funds appropriately or adhering to grant regulations.

Jordan went on to describe how the whistleblower was allegedly fired by Willis for bringing up issues related to financial impropriety. Additionally, the representative clarified why Jordan’s office had to dispatch the US Marshals on Willis’s behalf due to his apparent unwillingness to comply with the subpoena.

When she brought up this issue, Fani Willis fired her. She is currently in communication with our office; we will monitor the situation. And for that reason, we were served with a subpoena for relevant records and documents. We’ll have to wait and see. There are still some hours remaining in the day. She was fascinating as well. We had corresponded back and forth with her office, but she refused to accept service on the subpoena, so we had to send the US Marshals instead. There, she forced the US Marshals to pick up the subpoena. Jordan went on, “So go figure, this is Fani Willis.”

Jordan raised concerns about the DA’s office’s improper use of taxpayer funds in a letter to Fani Willis earlier this month, citing information provided by the whistleblower. “These claims raise serious questions about whether you were properly overseeing the use of federal grant funding that was assigned to your office and whether you took steps to hide the improper use of federal funds by your office,” Jordan wrote.

Willis, however, has refuted the whistleblower’s claims, claiming they are “false” and “baseless.” According to Willis, “the courts that have ruled found no merit in these claims.” “We anticipate the same outcome in any ongoing legal disputes. If our grant programs’ records are examined, it will become clear that they are extremely successful, collaborate with the Department of Justice, and adhere to all of its regulations.
