One woman was overjoyed because she was going to have her first child after wanting kids for years. But things changed when their sister told them she couldn’t have children. This broke their family’s hearts. The sister and her husband chose an unusual way to start a family: they got a dog. However, it’s not good that she wants everyone to treat their pet like a baby.
This is what she said:
“Hey,
We were thrilled when we found out a few years ago that we were going to have a baby. It was a dream come true for us because we’d always wanted to have a child.
Around the same time, my sister told me she had been trying to get pregnant but was told she couldn’t. It broke all of our hearts.
They got a dog named Lola not long ago from my sister and her husband. They consider her a child. Her job was even cut so she could spend more time with the dog. The issue is that Lola is a nightmare. She constantly barks, attacks people, and takes food. Plus, my sister and her husband started calling Lola “the first granddaughter” and “the first girl in the family.”
It bothers them that they treat my daughter like their dog all the time. Fewer people congratulated them when they adopted Lola than when my daughter was born, which made my sister angry.
The party for our dad’s birthday was yesterday. Dad doesn’t like dogs, so he told them not to bring Lola. “Why should they be able to bring their child and we can’t bring Lola?” my sister asked bitterly. When I had enough, I snapped, “Because Lola’s a dog and my daughter is a real baby.” “Those two are different.”
Sobbing, she won’t talk to me anymore. I don’t like how people always say that my daughter is like a dog.
Am I right?”
