People talk about embarrassing family moments that they will always remember.

Even though family is important, you can’t always tell what’s going on in their minds. Even though we will have disagreements and rough times, knowing that they will always be there for us makes us feel safe and loved.

I’m sorry I did that. I’ve laughed at my mom, sister, and now my wife for as long as I can remember because they always make too much pie filling. I can eat a little of it while the pie is baking because there is always some left over. I always thought it was just that they couldn’t measure food right.
But I heard my wife tell our daughter yesterday, “Make more filling.” Daddy really likes it. He holds a spoon over his mouth the whole time. This is adedas/Pikabu.

My husband has to travel a lot for work, so I take care of the baby at home and work from home. His parents call me as soon as my husband leaves. Every day. They must be afraid that I’ll get bored and lose control if they don’t. Awful, they can’t even think of something nice to say to me.
Now, I let my daughter answer as soon as I see their numbers on the screen. The grandmother is being held by a chatty 5-year-old while Mom works. These calls happen a lot less often now. Why, why? We still have a lot more to say about Lady Bug and other things like that! Overheard or Idear

My mother was upset when she learned that my husband and I were going on vacation with his parents. They are coming to watch our kids, yes. Also, my husband had always wanted to take his parents to the sea. Also, because my husband is paying for his parents’ trip. She doesn’t talk to me now… Overheard or Idear

The bath towels for my boyfriend’s family are kept in the parents’ bathroom. When a kid wanted to take a shower, they would go to their parents’ room, get a towel, shower, and then bring it back. Not a known author/Reddit

I’m stuck in traffic. A child about 9 years old is sitting in the back seat of the car on the left with the window down. His face looks very serious, but I’m feeling silly, the sun is out, and music is playing. I stuck out my tongue.
Soon after, the front window is tinted and the father is behind the wheel. The mother is in the passenger seat, and a girl about 5 years old looks at the boy from behind. The whole family laughs and points their tongues at me! The rest of the day, I felt great. This is oseledich/Pikabu.

It was already late when I left the apartment, but I forgot to bring my phone with me. I went back to the fourth floor and opened the door… My girlfriend was standing there with her phone close to her ear and mine in her hands. “Good that you remembered your phone so quickly,” she said. “I was going to call you.” Balnnspb and Pikabu
