I lost the love of my life 24 days after we got married, but that wasn’t the end of our story.

A 37-year-old woman named Loreen wrote a letter and told her story not long ago. We now think that even the most exciting movies are dull when real-life situations are used as examples. Loreen wrote to us that she met her boyfriend on a dating site. Since then, their lives have been taking such strange turns that the woman can hardly believe it’s all been happening to her. Let’s look at how the couple’s life turned out to be anything but dull.

Frank and Loreen met on a dating site a long time ago.

The 37-year-old Loreen wrote us a letter in which she told us a story that made us gasp. In the end, the woman’s life showed us that we don’t always need to watch dramas. Sometimes, our own lives may have something to teach us that is more interesting than the plot of the most complicated movie.

In the beginning of her letter, Loreen said, “I met Frank 10 years ago on a dating website.” I didn’t feel like I had to find a partner right away of course. Instead, I’ve always been the center of attention, and it was easy for me to start dating someone I liked.
But I couldn’t find my soulmate. Every relationship I ever started ended quickly because I couldn’t see anything serious between us, and I’ve never liked short-term relationships.

“Everything happened so quickly with Frank.” We felt a spark between us right away. Even though he only texted me once, I read all of them just to enjoy how well he understood me from the start and to admire his personality even more.
Every day, we texted each other, and I quickly became dependent on this virtual relationship that was far away. It looked like Frank felt the same way, and we were getting close to setting up our first real-life date. But this never happened because of a very important thing.

Frank and Loreen felt the same way about each other, but they never met.

“Both Frank and I were afraid of being let down by our live meeting,” Loreen continues her story. Instead of having all my hopes dashed, it was better for me to live in a sweet illusion. He might look very different in real life. I was scared my heart would get hurt. In the long run, I began to think that all of these online relationships were pointless and childish, and I told Frank about my worries.

“He understood me right away, and he didn’t push me.” I only had to make one promise when he asked me about some other things. His only condition was that neither of us had to find true love during those nine years. He suggested that we meet again in that time. After 9 years, we would get together and try to make our online relationship real.

Even though I thought it was funny, I promised Frank that I would keep our deal if I didn’t find someone better than him and get married in the next 9 years.
We kept texting each other after making the promises, but one day Frank stopped writing to me and never did. This made me sad and happy at the same time because I thought it meant he had found someone to fall in love with. The thoughts about Frank have always been with me, but I went on with my life.

After many years, Frank wrote to Loreen again.

That’s not all, Loreen says. “Nine years had passed, and I was still alone.” My love life was very bad at that time because I had just gone through a painful divorce after getting married to the wrong person.

“Frank sent me a message one day.” What was going on in my life? Did I remember him? Yes, I did. There wasn’t a day that went by that I didn’t think about him and feel bad that I wasn’t brave enough to meet him at that time.
He told me that he had been missing for 9 years because he had met a woman with whom he thought he would live the rest of his life, but they weren’t able to get married. He waited 9 years to give me time to live my own life so that everything would be fair between us.

“To make a long story short, we finally met.” It didn’t let either of us down either. We decided to get married three months after we met because we loved each other so much. Our wedding was like something out of a fairy tale.
But 24 days after our wedding, my beloved died in a terrible car accident. Frank didn’t have a single chance of staying alive. Before the sympathy cards came, I was still getting wedding cards with greetings. I was almost dead too. I loved him very much.

Some three months later, the grieving woman got a call she didn’t expect.

“Three months went by after Frank’s funeral, and I went to his grave every day,” Loreen said. I was there one day when I got a call. When I answered, it was Frank, and I almost passed out. I thought I was crazy, but he told me to pay attention and not talk over him.
It turned out that this really was Frank, and I wasn’t dreaming. Fred, his twin brother, was the person I married, and he was now dead. Like most sets of twins, the brothers had a similar fate. Nine years ago, Frank went missing after a car accident that seriously hurt him and put him into a coma for a year. After a long time of recovery, he felt like he shouldn’t get in touch with me again because he didn’t want to be a burden.

“All along, Frank’s twin brother Fred knew everything that was going on between us and our deal.” The man wanted to take advantage of the fact that he looked a lot like Frank because he was jealous of our instant spark and love story. After I got married and then divorced, Fred showed up under the name Frank and pretended to be him. He was following me around and knew everything about my life.
But life has its own ways of making things right, and this time Fred was in a bad accident and didn’t make it. I had been sad about Fred the whole time. This news left me speechless and shocked to the core.

Loreen wrote, “Frank and I finally met after being meant to be together for more than nine years.” I’ve loved him all these years, and Fred was just a copy of his brother. We’re glad. Our lives are better together, and we’re getting married.
Yes, one more thing. I found out a week ago that I’m pregnant with twins. I will tell Frank as soon as I finish writing this letter. Thanks so much for helping me make this happen! I want to tell everyone how happy I am!
