There is a chance that you will be alone when you take a taxi. It doesn’t always work out this way, though. The driver might say that your mom needs him as a son-in-law, or the car might break down in the middle of nowhere. There are a lot of stories like in the Internet.
When I was young, I took a taxi, told the driver where we were going, and we were on our way. This driver looked at me in the mirror the whole time! “Look at the road!” He did not respond. I told him to stop when we got there, but he kept going! I went crazy and yelled, “Pull over!” He slowed down, turned around, and gave me that crazy look again! I quickly got out of the car and threw the money away. (B.Atayewa/ADME)
The worst taxi ride I’ll ever remember was the one with a rude driver. I picked up my 7-year-old son from school and called a taxi. In the note to the order, I wrote down the child’s age. Right away, the driver made it clear that kids were not welcome in his car. After that, he was afraid that my son would damage his expensive car. But my son was just watching videos in peace. As a taxi driver, I love my job. I love how interesting and different the people you meet are. I always want the people who ride with me to have a great time. In the same way, I look for chances to help others, be a good Samaritan, and be an angel. When it rains, I’ll give rides for free or give one to a mom with small children who has a lot of groceries. I took in a woman who was stuck in a strange city and state because her boyfriend was abusing her to make sure she could get safe help. I’ve had my own angels since I’ve been driving at night for more than 30 years. Through Brenda Rae Pike on Quora
When I got home from work in the evening, I hired a taxi. There was heavy rain outside, a huge traffic jam, and my mom calling me all the time to worry about me. “Don’t worry, I will get you home safely,” the taxi driver told me when he saw that I was scared. I think we were stuck in traffic for more than two hours. The driver even missed dinner because of it. We talked a lot about his family, his daughters, his childhood, and, of course, my future on the way. There was a lot. I’m glad I had two hours to get to know him. By Nishi R on Quora
We were not on time for the first day of school. I took a taxi. But when we got to school, my son said out of the blue, “We forgot the flowers at home.” The driver turns around and says, “Don’t worry, I have a bouquet in the trunk.” I’m still thinking of other things I could do. It was for my wife’s mother, but you need it more now. I was so happy I thanked him. After some time, I sent the flower money to his phone number. By Podsushano on VK
A friend called for a taxi and said she would be with a child. When the taxi arrived without a child seat, the driver said, “It’s okay, I know the city like the back of my hand.” “The police won’t be coming along.” The friend called off the trip and wrote a complaint to back it up.
