When we get married, we promise to stay together through the good and bad times of life. But after a terrible event soon after their wedding, Suzy and her husband started to drift apart. After his parents were in a car accident, Suzy’s partner wanted to help them, but she insisted on going ahead with their planned honeymoon because she thought it couldn’t wait. The situation took a terrible turn, which is why Suzy came to us for help.
“It took us a year to plan our honeymoon in Europe.” On their way back from our wedding, my MIL and FIL were in a car accident. They are still alive, but they are hurt very badly. My husband told me he couldn’t leave the hospital without his family. “I’m your wife!” First, you need to take care of me!” He said no, so I went by myself.
And while I was there, I was horrified to see him post a new picture of himself having coffee with a female friend. I called him right away and told him, “It looks like you’re not going to be at the hospital after all.” He seemed mad and said, “This was taken in the hospital cafeteria. Unlike you, my friend Amy came to be with me during this hard time!”
I got back from my honeymoon after 10 days and went home. I was shocked to see a note on the table that said, “It’s better if we take some more time apart.” when I opened the door. You don’t seem to understand how important family is.
I’m so sad and think my marriage was over before it even began, but I’m still sure he should have gone on our honeymoon with me. What should I do?
