Truth is often stranger than fiction, and life has many twists and turns that amaze us. These stories are powerful reminders that the real world can be stranger than any author could have imagined. They can be heartwarming, shocking, or just plain weird.
I woke up early one morning late last year while I was still sleeping in my room. I was lying on my back in bed. Something tapped the tip of my toe three times after about 10 seconds. I got out of bed and looked around the room, but there was nothing there. I had to put myself in the fetal position because I was scared, and I fell back asleep.
Late that same day, I felt like I shouldn’t spend the night in my room, so I left the door open and went to sleep in another room. When my brother got home, he shut the door to my room. He said he heard something growl at him as he reached into my room for the handle. He slammed the door shut and ran into the room I was in, showing no fear at all. That night I didn’t sleep very well. I told a friend of mine who is much better at psychic things what was going on. So he called an old Chinese psychic/healer woman and talked to her. Together, they found that I had a huge portal in my room next to my bed. I had a werewolf demon come through and hang out in my bedroom for some reason. In the end, they shut down the portal and sent it back. I haven’t had any issues since! The roozgirl on Reddit
“When I was a toddler, I was adopted from South America to the US. I don’t remember my birth parents.” Someone older than me helped me when I was in college. I knew him as Mike. Once I found out that my birth mother had died, I got some of her things, like some pictures. Who were these people? Mike. He was my biological father. Thanks, aaareedreddit
“I thought I had two birthmarks on my torso for 17 years.” Until my girlfriend at the time became interested in them and looked at them very closely. It looks like I have an extra set of nipples. It is very small, but it is fully formed, with areolas and all. Re: ThisWormWillTurn on Reddit
“I went to a friend’s engagement party a few years ago.” They were having a big party because their destination wedding was going to be very small. In the evening, the fiancé of one of my friends takes the mic and thanks everyone for coming. Oh, I’m sorry. Jen will be out in a minute to thank you all; she’s just having a wardrobe malfunction. He then talks about how they met, became best friends, and decided to get married. He ends by saying something like, “We wish you were all there and that we could get married right now.” That’s why we’re going to. Jen walks out in her wedding dress. Reddit and RockG
“In high school, one of my best friends started hanging out with this guy from the other public high school in our city. Soon, they were pretty much strapped together.” She really liked him and thought he did too, but she was too shy to ask him out because she had never had a boyfriend before. While they were out one night, he told her he had to tell her something very important: he was gay. They stayed good friends. In a few months, at a party, the guy introduced us to his brother, who is one year younger than him. Both the guy and his brother looked alike, were likeable, and laughed at the same things. Twenty years later, my friend is now happily married to the brother. He is her best friend and the godfather of her children. The Basketeetch on Reddit
