It can be hard for kids to deal with having a stepmother or stepfather. It’s not easy to accept someone you don’t know as a family member. Of course, a lot depends on whether the parent’s new partner will be kind to the child. The heroes in this story were able to do this, and they were rewarded with love from both sides.
“I was a terrible stepdaughter. I drove all of my dad’s girlfriends crazy. “This child is a monster!” they would scream as they ran away.
He ended up with another girl one day. She was shy and quiet. I was mad at her too, and I made her cry. As I sit in my room, I hear that the crying has stopped.
