Without a doubt, this is the silliest controversy I have ever been a part of.
The first day of my new job. I go to work in a sweater and pants. I don’t wear a bra. My last job was two years ago, and I haven’t worn a bra there. No one has ever caught me. I hate bras because they make me feel bad and aren’t necessary.
There are two people who tell me during the day that what I’m wearing is wrong and that I should wear a bra to work. I don’t know any of these people; this is my first job. You really can’t see anything because I’m just wearing a sweater. I guess the only thing you can see is the shape of my breasts. One woman told me these words out loud while she was yelling at me about my clothes. Even though I have big breasts, I think what I’m wearing is fine.
Today is my second day at my new job. A T-shirt and a jacket are what I wear over that. I don’t wear a bra. I’m dressing even less sexily than on day 1. Two more people criticize me in the same way.
They are getting worse because one of them is my boss’s secretary. I let her know that there is no dress code at work and that people can wear whatever feels good. She says that there is still a set of rules that should be followed. She also said that it was easy to see the shape of my breasts.
During the two years I worked at my last job, I never wore a bra. A jacket and sweaters or t-shirts or blouses were what I wore most of the time. Even though my breasts are big, I didn’t think that was weird or a problem.
