Captivating behind-the-scenes images offering a glimpse into the production of ‘M*A*S*H’

The stunning scenery of Malibu Creek State Park in Southern California served as the backdrop of a war-torn Uijeongbu, South Korea, for eleven years on M*A*S*H. The 4077th Mobile Army Surgical Hospital was located at the base of the Santa Monica Mountains in the iconic sitcom, which was set in the midst of the Korean War. There, staked in the savannah grass, is still the ancient wooden sign that directed travelers to Boston, Burbank, Seoul, and other places.

Turn the clock back forty years, and the making of the classic series can be seen. In order to convey the feel and appearance of the M*A*S*H production, we have collected a few images. Naturally, there were smiles everywhere.
