It’s not likely that someone will have something to hide from us when they get married and start a family with us. This is what it means to trust each other.
But today’s heroine is a woman who accidentally found her husband’s huge skeleton in a cupboard. The shocking discovery keeps her up at night and won’t let her sleep. We feel bad for the woman who told us her story because it makes us think of her broken dreams. Here is her shocking story with a twist you didn’t see coming.
Rosa has been married to Mark for a very long time.
Rosa, who is 37 years old, recently told us an amazing story. People asked the woman to share her deepest feelings and hear what they thought about her crazy family situation.
Rosa said “Hi!” at the beginning of her letter. The way things are with my family right now is terrible, and I never thought something so crazy would happen to me.
Mark and I have been married for 14 years and have known each other for 15 years. I’ve always thought that our marriage started with a deep, sincere, and shared emotion. I’ve always been proud of the special bond I have with my husband. I truly believed that we had a strong bond, trust, and a lot of respect for each other.
Our love story was so unique, and that made me think that our happy marriage would last forever. But I was so wrong and so blind.
There were some very special times when Mark and Rosa fell in love.
Next, Rosa tells her story: “Mark and I met for the first time at the funeral for my dad.” I was upset about the death of my only parent; my mom died when I was a toddler and my dad raised me by himself.
He did everything he could to make my life a fairy tale. My dad and I were always very close. A lot of people liked Dad’s paintings, and they brought him a lot of money. He ran a number of art galleries, and many people knew and respected his name.
Dad had a few very loyal friends who all came to his funeral to honor his life. One of these friends brought his son to the funeral for his dad. That son was Mark, soon to be my husband.
While my dad was being buried, Mark was very busy. He started giving me help and support right away with anything I might need during that dark time. I gladly took his help, and that’s when we became friends. That’s also when I fell in love with this man.
Mark and I started dating soon after I got over my terrible loss. We got married two years after my dad’s funeral and our first meeting with Mark.
Rosa’s husband has always been a great partner, but she did notice some problems.
Rosa wrote, “Our marriage was blessed and happy from the start.” Mark loved his family and was a good husband and father. He always said that we had to have as many children as possible because he couldn’t imagine what family life would be like without them.
I also wanted to have kids. But I only wanted one child so I could give them all my love and attention. Mark insisted that we have three kids, and I didn’t say no. I was shocked when he stopped caring about our kids soon after they were born.
It was heaven for Mark when I gave birth to our first son. Following two years, we were blessed with twin babies.
It was a real problem for the family that Mark was growing farther away from the kids as they got older. I never understood why Mark was acting this way with the kids, and he would never give me a good reason for his behavior. He kept telling me I was thinking too much, and he even told me to see a doctor because of my worries about how he raised our kids.
Rosa’s in-laws had also done some very strange things.
Rosa wrote, “I need to add that my MOM, Ashley, and FIL, Jonathan, used to be very close with my late father.” My in-laws were great to me after Mark and I got married, and they insisted that we have at least three kids together.
When our children were born, neither of them showed any love or interest in their grandchildren. Both of my in-laws didn’t care about their grandchildren at all. Sometimes they forgot about their birthdays, which I thought was terrible since they wanted so many grandchildren in the first place. Even though they acted in a strange way, they were still nice to me and often sided with me when Mark and I fought or disagreed about something.
It’s always seemed to me that the way they treated our kids was because of some kind of family trauma. I didn’t even try to figure out why they were acting that way. Instead, I reminded myself that I was their mom and loved them all more than anything else. This was the most important thing for them.
Rosa also said, “I find out why Mark and his parents were acting so strangely all these years, and I have to say that the truth hit me really hard.”
Rosa listened in on Mark and his mother talking, and what she heard shocked her.
Rosa wrote, “Mark and I were getting close to our 15th wedding anniversary, and I was busy planning a really nice party.” When I got home from work not long ago, I planned to call Mark and ask him if he took care of any of the details for our party that were his job. I thought he wasn’t home, but then I heard his voice and knew he wasn’t by himself. Ashley was talking to him in a very emotional way.
“You did it, my boy!” she yelled. You only need one more year to be free and rich. Then you won’t have to lie anymore, and you’ll be truly happy. I also promise you that you will not have to work any more days. No more worries and pain for you, my son! “I’m so glad for you!”
Rosa wrote, “I heard them talking about my dad’s will and a woman named Ann, whom Mark loved and would finally be able to be happy with without having to hide anything.” Everything felt off, and I knew something bad was going to happen to me and my kids.
Rosa said, “I thought about my dad’s will right away.” It was going to be strange because it was going to be announced on our 15th wedding anniversary. My dad was close with my father-in-law, so he was going to do it. I ran to my FIL and told him I think I need to know something right away about my dad’s will.
He turned pale and then showed me the papers that said my dad wanted a man to marry me, be happy with me for 15 years, and have three kids with me. If this man met these conditions, he would inherit my dad’s money. My dad didn’t really mean Mark, but my MIL took this chance right away to make Mark very rich. I now understand everything, including how Mark and his parents treat the kids.
Rosa also said, “You might want to know who the woman named Anna was.” It turned out that Mark had been seeing the woman he really loved while we were married for 15 years. He planned to finally ask her to marry him when he was “free and wealthy.”
“I’ve hired the best lawyer in the state to help me leave Mark and his greedy family with nothing,” the woman said. Their case is going to be long and hard, but they won’t get my dad’s money this time. I keep hearing from my FIL that I should give his son a chance to show that he loves me. He told me more than once that my dad wanted me to have a long and happy marriage. I should be thankful that his last wish came true.
There’s no going back for me now; all I want is justice for everyone. I’m sure Mark and his mother will get what they deserve very, very soon.
