Office dramas that could make the best TV shows.

We spend so much time at work that we learn everything about our coworkers’ personal lives without meaning to. For example, we know the name of the client’s cat because they call us 17 times a day. Even though workdays can get boring, there are always funny or strange stories that are great for posting online.

I had a coworker who talked too much about her life. She talked about her parents, her pets, her partners, her period, how much she hated her job, her high school years, and her enemies all the time. I work while I sit because I’m busy. We had some free time one day while we were waiting for a delivery, so we all talked. A small group of four. Several days later, I had a short meeting with the manager because I was told to stop talking about myself so the girls could get work done. When was this? It was when we were talking about vacation ideas the other day. Did you know that this other girl told us this morning what size maxi pad she liked best? In great detail. The whole office heard about it while we were sitting at our desks; it wasn’t whispered in the corners. Do you have me mixed up with her? Cameras are with you. Find out whose lips are always moving. I knew I had to leave after that. All you earthlings on Reddit”

“I worked with someone, and we got along well.” It was lunchtime, so I got a glass of juice every time, and she always asked me to take a sip at the end. Why should she get it? She wouldn’t drink my whole glass, but she could take a sip. It was a pain. “From Marisha in Paris, ADME”

Someone I worked with liked to try my food. I once brought pasta with cream, porcini mushrooms, and pine nuts. He asked, “What is it that you have that is so nice?” As he starts to eat with a spoon, his face changes, and he asks, “Are those mushrooms?” He left the office quickly to go to the bathroom. He stays away from mushrooms. That’s too bad! la / ADME

Our library now has a young woman working there. She was a college graduate, so our boss thought she knew what she was doing. I don’t know where she found her. It didn’t work out that way; she scared off readers, sat in a chair and fell, and was told to glue pockets on new arrivals—everything was in glue. She just didn’t show up to work on the fourth day. We called her after three days. “Our Nataly is too good to work for you,” her grandmother told her on the phone. This is Geriknas/ADME.

Two coworkers put in applications to be managers. One has the right degree but doesn’t care about anything. The other person is highly motivated and has good instincts, but they don’t have a degree. You can guess who got the job. Now the doer knows how to let the apathetic one fail. I’m CayseyBee on Reddit.
