Previously arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, McDougal became a key suspect in the girl’s disappearance. Audrii, who was last seen on the morning of February 15th, failed to catch her school bus, initiating a distressing search that concluded with this devastating finding.

McDougal, known to reside in a camper near Audrii’s home and occasionally responsible for her transport to the bus stop or school, is now under intense scrutiny. Efforts to trace his activities on the day of Audrii’s disappearance are ongoing, with authorities seeking public assistance in providing any relevant video evidence from FM 3126 in Polk County on the morning she vanished.

A backpack believed to belong to Audrii found near Livingston Dam is among the critical pieces of evidence being examined.
